Why We Built This
SkyToolbox was born out of a simple frustration — most online aviation calculators are either outdated, inaccurate, cluttered with ads, or require you to sign up just to use a basic tool.
We wanted something different. A clean, modern, accurate collection of aviation tools that anyone can use instantly — whether you are a student pilot preparing for your PPL, a professional doing quick calculations, or simply someone who loves aviation.
Every tool on SkyToolbox is built using standard aviation formulas used in real flight training worldwide. We test every calculator with multiple real scenarios and verify results before publishing.
SkyToolbox is and will always be completely free. No subscriptions, no paywalls, no ads. Just accurate aviation tools, available to anyone, anywhere in the world.
THE FOUNDER
Meet Mohib Memon
My love for aviation didn’t start in a classroom. It started in childhood. From the moment I saw an aircraft in the sky, I was fascinated. I didn’t just see a machine – I saw freedom, precision and everything that makes flight one of humanity’s greatest achievements. That feeling never left me.
That childhood fascination grew into a serious passion. I went on to complete a one-year undergraduate diploma at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University – one of the most prestigious aviation universities in the world. That experience gave me a deeper understanding of how flight really works, the physics behind it, the planning, the precision and the discipline that aviation demands.
My dream is to become a Commercial Pilot. Every step I take is moving toward that goal. SkyToolbox is part of that journey – a project where I combined my lifelong passion for aviation with my professional skills as a website designer and developer.
By profession I help businesses build websites. I decided to use that same skill to build something genuinely useful for the aviation community – tools that are accurate, free and accessible to anyone who needs them.
